Get wisdom, Get understanding …

 

Hi there,

New year can be a time of new goals and fresh vision, and that’s wonderful.

Something that’s also important at this time of year is a time of review.

Whats working? What’s not working?

We need vision, and, we need wisdom.

I recently did my own review. I was in for a surprise. Both at what was working, and what wasn’t working.  It brought clarity to both.

Sometimes when we face a challenge we can tend to automatically think we need to press through, breathe through, and indeed pray through. And yes sometimes that is what is called for.

But sometimes it is something different.  Sometimes we need to review, we need to seek wisdom, we need to seek understanding, and sometimes what is really needed is a change.

Once I knew it was a change that was needed, it brought clarity, and it brought peace.

I still went to God. About how this change was going to be brought about. And He brought understanding, He brought wisdom, and He started to bring change.

It is a joy to start to walk in that change.

I wanted to invite you to do your own review. What’s working? What’s not working?

And if He shows you some area where change is what is needed …

Trust God. 

Ask Him for understanding, ask Him for wisdom, and ask Him to start making the change that is needed.

You’ll be glad you did.
