Hi there,
Hope you are doing well.
In the summer my husband took me to Paris 🇫🇷
Beautiful.
The city of love.
Travelling to Paris was wonderful.
But the main thing I wanted to share is that I was there with my husband.
Years ago this might have been a someday one day dream.
But this year it became a this year, this summer reality.
I write to encourage you.
Don’t give up.
Don’t get too focused on your career or work that you forget to make room for the dream of being married some day.
Don’t be discouraged as you see your friends around you get married.
Don’t despair as your friends have babies and toddlers crawling around.
Rather.
Rejoice with those who rejoice.
“Be happy with those who are happy …”
Romans 12:15
Be hopeful.
Keep the faith.
Keep your eyes open.
And your hopes up.
I remind single girls all the time it just takes one.
And God can connect you to him anywhere.
We know people who met their future husband whilst attending a wedding.
We ourselves met when travelling and attending school.
We know people who have got married for the first time in their 50s and beyond.
We know plenty of couples who have given birth to children well beyond what would usually be considered child bearing years.
Be encouraged.
God can do it.
And if your dream is someday one day in Paris with your husband.
God can do that too.
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
Galatians 6:9
